A new search engine for Web and online eventsNovember 21, 2006 StreamLogic has launched what it calls a new search engine for certain Web and online events. The company announces the launch of its new Web event search engine, FindWebEvents.com. The property, which leverages the power of Google's customized search technology, queries the Internet, returning results related to specific Web and online events. FindWebEvents.com will allow users to rapidly and easily find Web events, training and podcasts for the topics on which they are searching. The new search engine looks for Webinars, Webcasts, Web presentations, Web conferences, live Web events, podcasts and streaming media. In addition to Web and online events, FindWebEvents.com also provides information on in-person events, training and tutorials, books and videos. “This project was our answer to a long-time frustration with the relevancy of Web event search results. Until now, it wasn't possible to find online events, demonstrations and training quickly and accurately using a standard search engine" said Curtis Hughes, CEO of StreamLogic Inc. He added "the FindWebEvents.com search engine provides much greater precision than a standard Web search by combining a specific query with additional information, targeted toward Web events in particular." "The end result is highly relevant search results that relate only to Web events,” said Hughes. FindWebEvents.com is a free Web search service accessible to all Internet users.
